With their distinctive blue eyes and colour points, Siamese cats are the most recognized breed that arrive at cat shelters. Many of the cats that come to RESCUE are Siamese crosses; meaning they may not have “perfect” points and the distinctive Siamese traits.
Siamese and Siamese cross cats form close emotional bonds with their human companions. Many Siamese cats will suffer emotional grief and trauma when they lose “their families” and find themselves in a shelter environment. At RESCUE, we give these cats the time they need to adjust and find a new loving home.
Looking for kittens?
RESCUE Siamese periodically receives litters of kittens for adoption; however they will not necessarily be featured on our website, as they tend to find homes rather quickly. Kittens are not housed at our store location, and so appointments must be made to meet kittens in person at their foster homes. Please visit our Facebook page and/or e-mail us at [email protected] to check on the availability of kittens.

Siamese cross Lynx Point Male – neutered Date of birth: January 2016 Skittles is a 2-year-old Lynx Point who came to us from our friends at Thompson Humane Society. He is a little more on the shy side, and definitely prefers the company of humans over that of other cats. Skittles is recommended to go to a home without small children, as he still needs to gain confidence around new and exciting situations. If you would like to meet Skittles, you can visit him at our store location at 38 Barberry Road during regular store hours.
Fanta Siamese Cross Flame Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2010 Fanta is a big boy with a big personality! He enjoys sitting on a perch and watching the world around him. He is a talkative boy and will let you know when he wants attention (or maybe a treat). Fanta is very independent and will let you know when he wants to be paid attention to–but when he does, he can’t get enough head scratches! Because of this, Fanta would do best in a home without small children (<8 years old), and would prefer a home without any other pets. If you would like to meet Fanta, you can visit him during our regular store hours at 38 Barberry Road.
Dometic short hair Grey tabby – snowshoe Male – neutered Date of birth: February 2015 If you cross a cat with a teddy bear, you’d get Mitch! This handsome and cuddly fellow is quite gentle and meek (ie. he has a beta-personality). He loves to get head scratches and gives the best hugs and kisses. Mitch prefers the company of humans, but he is OK around other mild-mannered cats. Because Mitch is a bit on the shy side, he would probably prefer a home without small children (<6 years). If you would like meet Mitch, you can visit him at our store location at 38 Barberry Road.
*IN FOSTER HOME* Domestic short hair Tuxedo – Black & White Male – neutered Date of birth: 2016 The name says it all–Handsome is a beautiful boy! While Handsome really enjoys spending time with the humans of Rescue Siamese, he is not fond of other cats. Handsome has a strong, alpha-type personality and would do best in a home without other pets, or small children (<6 years of age). If you would like to meet Handsome, you can send us an email at [email protected]
to arrange an appointment with his foster family.
Siamese Cross Lynx Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2015 *FIVE POSITIVE* Jax is a sweet boy who loves the attention of his human friends at Rescue Siamese. He has a cuddly personality and can’t get enough head scratches. If you’re lucky, he might even give you kisses! Jax is FIV-positive, which means his immune system is not as strong as a normal, healthy cat. Much like the people living with the human version of virus (HIV), Jax can otherwise live a pretty regular life. FIV is not transmissible to humans (or other animals), and it can only be transmitted to other cats by contact with blood (ie. deep bites, etc). As such, it is important that Jax goes to a mature home with no other pets–his super-playful personality is not compatible with most other cats because he plays too roughly with them. If you would like to meet the beautiful Jax, you can visit him at our store location at 38 Barberry Road.
Domestic Short Hair Dilute tortoise shell/Calico Female – spayed Date of birth: October 2016 *AT PET VALU SAGE CREEK* Lily was surrendered by her previous owner to the Thompson Humane Society, and has been with Rescue Siamese since February. She is a curious, sweet girl and loves to play. If you would like to meet Lily, you can visit her at Pet Valu Sage Creek, during regular store hours.
Siamese cross Blue point Male – neutered Date of birth: February 2017 Atticus is another strong personality at Rescue Siamese. He is confident an curious, and loves all the attention he gets from the Rescue Siamese volunteers–he sure can purr up a storm! Atticus much prefers the company of humans to cats; so he would prefer a home where he’d be the only pet. If you would like to meet his wonderful boy, you can meet him at the Rescue Siamese store location at 38 Barberry Road.
Siamese cross – Medium Hair Snowshoe – Blue point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2016 *FIV POSITIVE* Cadwell is such a sweetheart! This beautiful boy is a gentle soul who loves attention from his human friends at Rescue Siamese. He especially loves it if you take the time to give him a good brush down and some head scratches. Cadwell is FIV positive, meaning that his immune system is not as strong as a normal healthy cat. Much like the human version of the virus (HIV), FIV is only transmissible to other cats by direct contact with blood (eg. mainly bite wounds). FIV also only affects cats, which means that it cannot be transmitted to humans or other non-feline pets. Apart from this, Cadwell is otherwise a normal, cuddly fellow. If you would like to meet Cadwell, you can visit him at our store location at 38 Barberry Road.
Siamese cross Blue Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2005 *ON MEDICAL HOLD* Skye is a beautiful 12-year-old male with a gentle personality. He loves head scratches and the odd treat (or two). Skye is intimidated by other cats and prefers the company of Rescue volunteers. Skye would do best in a quiet home with no other pets, and no small children (<8 years of age). Can you give this sweet boy a forever home? You can meet Skye at Pet Valu on Meadowood Drive, during regular store hours.
