With their distinctive blue eyes and colour points, Siamese cats are the most recognized breed that arrive at cat shelters. Many of the cats that come to RESCUE are Siamese crosses; meaning they may not have “perfect” points and the distinctive Siamese traits.
Siamese and Siamese cross cats form close emotional bonds with their human companions. Many Siamese cats will suffer emotional grief and trauma when they lose “their families” and find themselves in a shelter environment. At RESCUE, we give these cats the time they need to adjust and find a new loving home.
Looking for kittens?
RESCUE Siamese periodically receives litters of kittens for adoption; however they will not necessarily be featured on our website, as they tend to find homes rather quickly. Kittens are not housed at our store location, and so appointments must be made to meet kittens in person at their foster homes. Please visit our Facebook page and/or e-mail us at [email protected] to check on the availability of kittens.

ADOPTED! Seal Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2016 Tyson is a cautious boy who takes his time to get used to new situations. Once he is comfortable, Tyson is curious and friendly–he can also be a bit vocal, especially if he knows you have a treat for him! Tyson would be best placed in a quiet home without dogs or small children. While he is OK with other cats, Tyson would probably prefer to be an only pet. If you would like to meet this beautiful boy, you can visit him during regular store hours at our adoption centre at 38 Barberry Road.
Mocha Siamese cross Snowshoe seal point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2007 Here’s our happy boy Mocha! Siamese Cross Seal point Female – spayed Date of birth: 2016 *IN FOSTER HOME* After giving birth to last year’s “cheese-themed” litter, it is time for momma Brie to find her forever home! This beautiful girl is an incredibly affectionate purr-machine, who will follow you everywhere you go. She is always the first to the door to greet you when you come home, and she is eager to tell you all about her day but mostly she’s just excited to see you and to get pets and kisses. Brie plays a little rough with other cats and can get a little jealous as she LOVES affection and wants it all for herself! She would be happiest and most relaxed as an only pet. If you would like to meet Brie, please send an e-mail to [email protected]
to make an appointment with her foster family.
ADOPTED! Domestic short hair Grey tabby Males Date of birth: September 2017 *AT PET VALU SAGE CREEK* Our twins from Sagkeeng are ready for adoption! Ted is usually the first to come for a cuddle. He often carries toys in his mouth, will purr at the slightest touch and likes to watch TV. Bill, on the other hand is the first to check out new things and also likes to watch TV. He enjoys cuddling, loves toy mice and can play for hours with them. He has a more dominant personality and likes to tell Ted what to do –typical twins! If you would like to meet Bill & Ted, you can visit them at Pet Valu Sage Creek, during regular store hours.
Celia Domestic short hair Grey tabby – Oriental Date of birth: 2009 Meet Celia! Celia first came into the program some time ago with a group of farm cats that needed to be rescued from a dog! Despite this, Celia is quite friendly towards dogs and other cats. The group consisted of blue point Siamese crosses; Celia was born a green eyed beauty which is common in cross bred litters. Celia is a super “cool” cat who easily adapts to new situations. She can be a little bossy at times with other cats, but then she is also quite the leader. Celia is not super cuddly but enjoys being brushed and just hanging out with her humans. She is a little shy at first until she gets the lay of the land. Celia is the last of her group to be adopted; her brother Titan found a home last Fall. If you would like to meet Celia, you can visit her at our adoption centre at 38 Barberry Rd, during their regular store hours.
*FIV POSITIVE* Siamese Cross Lynx Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2015 Jax is a sweet boy who loves the attention of his human friends at Rescue Siamese. He has a strong, quiet personality, which means he is more of a solitary fellow. Jax is FIV-positive, which means his immune system is not as strong as a normal, healthy cat. Much like the people living with the human version of virus (HIV), Jax can otherwise live a pretty regular life. FIV is not transmissible to humans (it is not zoonotic), and it can only be transmitted to other cats by contact with blood (ie. scratches, bites, etc). As such, it is important that Jax goes to a mature home with no other pets–his alpha-personality is not compatible with most other cats. If you would like to meet the beautiful Jax, you can visit him at our store location at 38 Barberry Road.
Siamese Cross Blue Point Male – neutered Date of birth: November 2016 Delany joined the Rescue Siamese family after being rescued as a stray from the Fort Alexander area. Delany is a very sweet, easy-going boy and gets along quite well with other cats. Because of his early start as a stray, Delany has strong tendencies to over-eat and gorge himself any time he has access to food. As such, Delany must be kept on a strict diet, and his adopters must be diligent in not leaving “people food” where Delany may have access to it. Despite his fascination with food, Delany is a confident, social cat. Ideally, Delany would go to a home without any other pets, where his eating habits can be strictly managed. If you would like to meet the wonderful Delany, you can visit him at our adoption centre at 38 Barberry Road, during regular store hours.
Siamese cross Blue Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2005 *AT PET VALU MEADOWOOD* Skye is a beautiful 12-year-old male with a gentle personality. He loves head scratches and the odd treat (or two). Skye is intimidated by other cats and prefers the company of Rescue volunteers. Skye would do best in a quiet home with no other pets, and no small children (<8 years of age). Can you give this sweet boy a forever home? You can meet Skye at Pet Valu on Meadowood Drive, during regular store hours.
*IN FOSTER HOME* Siamese cross Seal Point Female-Spayed Date of birth: 2014 Missy is an independent gal who has what is often referred to as a typical Siamese personality. She is fiercely loyal to her favourite humans and will let you know when she wants attention. If you would like to meet this beautiful girl, please send an e-mail to [email protected]
to arrange a meeting with her foster family.
Fanta Siamese Cross Flame Point Male – neutered Date of birth: 2010 Fanta is a big boy with a big personality! He enjoys sitting on a perch and watching the world around him. He is a talkative boy and will let you know when he wants attention (or maybe a treat). Fanta is very independent and will let you know when he wants to be paid attention to. Because of this, Fanta would do best in a home without small children (<8 years old), and would prefer a home without any other pets. If you would like to meet Fanta, you can visit him during our regular store hours at 38 Barberry Road.
