Domestic Long Hair
Calico Tabby
Female -Spayed
Date of birth: May 2016

*IN FOSTER HOME*

Little Fern was originally brought in to our care to address a severe leg injury. Her leg could not be saved. She is currently in foster care and this is what her foster had to say about her:

“Meet Fern! She is an approx 3-year-old female long hair calico, very petite in size and a tripod. She had to have one of her hind legs amputated about due to injury. She does very well with the 3 legs and still can enjoy the cat post. One of the sweetest kitties you’ll meet. She loves getting petted, but not a fan of being picked up and cuddled. She’s great with dogs and cats. Fern does take time to adjust to her new home. She took about a month before she would leave the room and come explore the rest of the house and be comfortable. Once she felt safe, she comes and sits and looks out the window or cuddles with the other pets on the couch. As long as you give her patience and time she will be an amazing addition to most families”

Her adoption fee is $129 and includes:
Initial veterinary health exam
Alteration (spay/neuter)
First vaccinations
Deworming
ELISA snap test for FIV/FeLV
Tattoo and/or microchip

If you would like to meet Fern, please fill out our online adoption form, and we will arrange a meeting with her foster family.
