All adopters are asked to fill in our ADOPTION FORM, which asks many general questions including past pet history, a vet reference and identifies potential costs relating to owning a pet. This also clarifies RESCUE’s policies to ensure adopters will abide by with our policies.
Once a match is made, our adopters sign a contract agreeing to treat the animal humanely, agreeing with RESCUE’s policies and agreeing to return the cat to RESCUE should the new owner not be able to care for it at any point in the future
Adoptions fees include: spay or neuter, tattoo or microchip, health check, first vaccination and deworming. As kittens do not get a tattoo until they are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age, they are given a mandatory microchip.
