- Biography:Dexter came to us as a transfer from another shelter. He is very fond of people and will come seek your attention--if you are lucky, he will curl up on your lap for some cuddles. Dexter is on a satiety prescription food from the vet as he is overweight, which is a health concern. He should be on this food and his weight monitored with the owner’s vet after adoption. Dexter would do best in a home with an experienced cat owner and not do well in a home with kids as he can nip when he gets excited (not in an aggressive way). He gets along well with most cats but would need a home that does not free feed as he should not eat other cats' foods.
