Seal Point – Long Hair
Male – neutered
Date of birth: March 2018
Adoption fee: $129
Tiki came to us from Northern Manitoba, through a remote spay and neuter clinic. This loveable guy is very sweet and has the loudest purr ever!
Tiki suffered from a reoccurring ear infection in his right ear which was eventually diagnosed as being caused by an ear polyp. He had surgery to have the polyp removed and it was tested at the pathology lab. Thankfully it came back as noncancerous and likely developed as a secondary issue due to an upper respiratory virus. The surgery caused Horner’s Syndrome which is why his eye still looks funny–it is usually temporary and takes up to 6 weeks to fully resolve, although he seems to have some permanent alteration. Tiki gets along well with other cats, kids and doesn’t appear to be spooked by dogs.
If you would like to meet the wonderful Tiki, you can visit him at our adoption centre at 38 Barberry Road.
