They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
So what words tell the story of this picture?
Does it show you a cat that so desperately needs a home?
Does it represent the many, many cats out there needing homes?
Does it represent the kennels that need replacing?
Does it represent the need for companion animal rescue at large?
Does the image make you sad?
Does the image make you mad?
Does it make you cringe that so many breed their cats by oops?
Does it make you want to cry that many more breed by choice?
Does it make you want to donate?
Does it make you want to adopt?
Does it make you want to help ?
Do you wander what his story is ?
Do you want to know his name?
Do you want to see him get adopted?
or do you see it and hit ignore?
do you think you can't make a difference?
What thousand words does this picture tell you?
I'm still not sure what this photo tells me.
I only know what I felt when it was just me and the cats.
A few moments. A few photos, it will be quick.
But the cries I heard from the homeless hit home.
I wanted to cry feeling helpless and sad.
One at a time they looked at me to play.
Just wanting attention and a place to call home.
A few photos to take and I'm on my way.
but the memory is with me and this image hits home.
Why do so many lovelies have to wait for their homes?
