RESCUE Siamese is in need for a few volunteers to fill some positions including: store personnel, kennel cleaning, fundraising, and errands runners. Volunteer shifts are 3 hours long (or less), and can be scheduled on a weekly, bi-weekly or casual basis.
Summer 2016: Our FIV cats all need to be adopted into suitable homes! Because they are bonded to each other, we are hoping that they can go with a friend and be adopted in pairs.
Quagga houses an indoor colony of FIV cats in their own designated comfortable, spacious free-range room. These cats are FIV-positive, which means they have an immunodeficiency virus that is almost always spread between cats by biting/fighting. It does not affect humans or other non-feline animals. These cats can live in good health for a long time. Please speak to a senior volunteer at the shelter about their individual needs.
