- Biography:Through no fault of her own, Beatrice is once again looking for a loving forever home. Born in care to a Siamese mom, she was adopted as a kitten and later returned when her family was travelling. She then found another home, but sadly came back into our care after her owner passed away. At only 4 years old, Beatrice has already experienced a lot of change, and we would love to see her finally find the stability she deserves. Beatrice has been diagnosed with arthritis in her hips, possibly related to an old injury from her younger years. Thankfully, it does not slow her down. She easily climbs a 6-foot cat tree, explores every corner of the house, and is more than capable of hopping onto counters and tables when she feels like it. While she is not currently on medication, she may require medical management for her arthritis as she ages. Because of her condition, she does need to be lifted and carried carefully to avoid discomfort. She is currently working on losing a little weight and prefers kibble over wet food. Despite her size, Beatrice is far from lazy. She enjoys spending her days roaming the house, supervising the other pets, and watching birds and squirrels from the window. Beatrice coexists well with respectful cats and gives the resident cat-savvy dog plenty of space. She is a quieter cat who tends to do her own thing and can easily fly under the radar, but she truly enjoys attention when it is offered. She loves pets, belly rubs, and interactive playtime with toys. Because of her arthritis and preference for a calmer environment, Beatrice would do best in a quieter home without young children. She is looking for a family who will understand her needs, encourage gentle activity, and provide any future medical care she may require. In return, Beatrice will reward you with her sweet companionship and quiet charm.
