History
- Biography:Honey came into our care roughly two years ago as a very scared stray living outside. She spent time in a foster home where, with lots of patience and love, she slowly began to come out of her shell. She has made such wonderful progress and is now ready to find her forever home. Honey is a quiet, sweet girl who will do best in a calm, peaceful home where she can take her time getting comfortable. She now allows pets from our volunteers and is slowly starting to come out of her kennel when she feels safe and confident. These may seem like small steps, but for Honey, they are huge milestones. She gets along well with other cats, and we feel having a friendly, confident cat in her new home would be wonderful for her and could help her continue to build her confidence. Honey is looking for a home with no dogs and no children. She will need a patient adopter who understands that she may take some time to fully trust and settle in. She may be shy at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet girl who is learning that people can be trusted. After everything she has been through, Honey is finally ready for the next chapter of her life. She has waited a long time for someone to give her a chance, and we hope her forever family is out there waiting for her too.
