They were born outdoors to a feral mom and had a cautious start to life. Because of this, Maya can be a bit shy around new people at first, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines through. Sweet, adorable, loving, and playful are perfect words to describe Maya. She enjoys spending her days lounging in cat trees, batting around fluffy toys, and chasing plastic balls across the room. She has a gentle, non-dominating personality and has met the resident cats in her foster home, where she did very well. Maya has not met dogs or children yet. A loud or busy home with young children would not be a good fit for her, but she may do well with calm, older children who understand giving her space. She would be happy in a home with another friendly cat or as a solo kitty soaking up all the attention. Maya is a gentle, playful girl looking for a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished.
