- Biography:Purdy Littermates: Pepsi, Maya, Reese, Lindo Kitten Adoption Fee: $179 Two Kittens: $322 Purdy and her siblings came into our care at approximately four months old. They were found outdoors in Thompson with their mom, who was still quite feral. Purdy was one of the shyest and most frightened kittens when she first arrived, but she has come a long way and is now ready to find her forever home. She is slowly coming out of her shell and enjoys having fun and playing. Purdy is still cautious and will need a patient home that understands she will require time to trust and adjust. She is a very independent girl who loves to entertain herself with toys, especially spring toys. While she isn’t a big cuddle fan, she can be held for short periods and absolutely loves neck and back rubs. She often flops down beside her foster and purrs happily. Purdy can be a bit uncomfortable with people towering over her, unless food is involved, which she loves. Purdy has met other cats in foster care and did well with them, as she knows her place. She would do well either with another friendly cat or as a single cat. She has not met dogs, and due to her shy nature, a quieter home would likely suit her best. She has not met children, but she may do well with calm, older, respectful kids who understand giving her space. She would not do well in a louder or busy home. Purdy is a gentle soul looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. Purdy may be shy at first, but for the right person, she will be a truly special addition to the family.
