History
- Biography: Spencer came into our care in the fall alongside Abraham after arriving from outside of the city. While the two came in together, they do not need to be adopted together. Spencer is a little more reserved and shyer than Abraham, often taking a bit of time to observe his surroundings before fully settling in—but once he does, his sweet personality truly shines. When Spencer feels comfortable, he becomes an affectionate, gentle boy who loves spending time with volunteers. He’s quite the conversationalist and enjoys “chatting” and telling his stories/ These sweet interactions show just how loving and adorable he can be. We believe Spencer previously lived in a home with both dogs and cats. While he hasn’t met dogs in our care yet, he does get along very well with the cats at the shelter and is respectful of their space. Spencer has not met children yet, so any introductions should be slow and thoughtful. Spencer would do well in most homes, especially one that gives him a little time to settle in. Once comfortable, he offers gentle affection, sweet companionship, and plenty of charming conversations.
